Simile In My Adventure by Sakariyah Ridwanullah

I have a simile in my life.
strives to meet the standard of metaphor.
amidst the forlorn encounter with Irony, Sarcasm and Euphemism.
all barriers to be broken, debackled.
like a scoundrel living a tough life, in the rough street.

like a pregnant she-goat groaning in pain, struggling to survive and, smile again.
like a dizzy falcon roaming helplessly, striving to avert a red signal.

like a cockroach wailing at furnace of heartless fire.
like...an Ulcer patient moaning with tremble voice, wants a chance to live again, never to give up on death.
like my mama in the labour room: "help!" "help!" she grumbled.

push. push. the doctor encouraged. until she begot me.
mama smiled welcoming my cry with the hope to survive and  live once more.
