I Write by Latifah Adelani Omolade

I write to that one beautiful soul out there on this very day.
I write to you in terms of pain and in times of comfort.
I write to that pain you feel, but can't be said to anyone.
I write to that feeling that is left unexpressed.

I write to that day you will also be praised for your hard work and dedication.
I write to you, not to stop being that one true person to yourself.

I write to that morning dew, that lands softly on your skin, making you ponder that the world can still be a better place for us.

I write to the days you won't exist anymore.
The days you would only be remembered for the good you have done.

I write about that smile you put on your face during the time of quandary.
I write to that day you're left alone but with certainty, you come up with something intriguing.

I write  to you once again, my dear friend.
You should reflect on how far you have gone in life and appreciate every step you have taken.

For a day would come again, I would write to you and praise you for a life well lived and for our offspring to learn a whole lot from it.
