Our Exceptionally Honoured Leaders!
 
Without flatterings, you really deserve to be praised immensely

Owing to your contributions to the development of the Fatherland 

The universities you had fund

The currency you had
 holistically unembezzled

The tattered road you had  reconstructed

The mineral resources you had unexploited

The life you had made for the citizens to live in the fast lane

The poverty prevalence you had doused it's flame

Obviously, the prick of conscience often driven you O you leaders of the nation

And your hearts are free of the preponderance of desires.

Aren't  they? my fellow Nigerians


Arise O you the leaders!
Citizens of Nigeria call obey!
To serve your father's land
With love and strength and commitment 
The nursing of the poverty stings are alarming
Should we hope for change or we continue celebrating the liability independence ?
With the lofty height hope to attain
And rebuild the nation
Where peace and justice shall reign

A glimmer of gold in the dunes' vast expanse appeared. As I searched, the sands shifted, revealing a path unclear. With every step, and each passing moment, thoughtful reflection leads the way. Upon delving deep, I unearthed a treasure bright, and then I examined the price, to see if it gleamed with hidden worth. And so I discovered it was merely glitter in sight. A lesson learned, I realized with conviction true: not all that glitters is gold, and glitter can deceive anew. As I ventured, forlorn, into the desert's endless space, in search of ancient gold, a treasure to adorn, Sorrow's velvet cloak enveloped me in its gentle grasp.
