Freedom By Ganiyat Folaranmi

We pray  for a better tomorrow, When our
yesterdays persists in sorrow, Freedom is all we yearn for, When all hope seems to be lost.

Silence had it's bruises on us, With indelible marks from previous wars, Staring blank upwards with thoughts, Of standing together against oppression.

That had pierced down so many lane of war, Making the great  ambassadors soar above, Inquisitive of new things of  thy great land to knowWhere scorn and rebellion rose ayond.

Everyday by day the thought of it,When the ceaseless time did flit, Everything still, towards its ending drew, Till when a moment of eternity passes.Freedom become our day by day words.
