A True Companion by Mosuro Hafsah Oluwatobi

Oh friend, you're one of a kind, Through thick and thin, we've been aligned, Our friendship's stood the test of time, And it's as strong as any vine. I know you're always there for me, With love and care, you set me free, You make me laugh and help me see, The joy and light of life, you bring to me. We've shared our tears and shared our fears, And through it all, our friendship's clear, That nothing can compare, I hold it dear.                            Oh friend, I'll sing your praises high, For you're a gem, I can't deny, Your kindness shines, like the summer sky, You're always there, so very nigh. You lift me up, you bring me cheer, With your sweet smile, so sincere, Your laughter's like a song I hear, My heart is full, without a fear. I count the ways you've helped me grow, You've made me strong, so it's plain to show, Our friendship's like a garden's flow.            ...

The Diamond heart by Mosuro Hafsah Oluwatobi

Image
The sun rises high, And sets in the night, But you shine forever, Your light, so bright. A diamond so rare, Your beauty, immense, Your spirit, so pure, Your strength immense. No matter the storms, No matter the pain, You rise above it all, Your heart will remain. You are a treasure, A gift to this earth, A light so radiant, The wind blows strong, The rain falls hard, But you stand tall, With strength and heart. The waves crash high, The sea roars loud, But you stay steady, Your courage proud. The world may change, The days may shift, But you'll stay true, Your spirit swift. No matter what comes, You'll rise again, Your strength within, Will never end.

15 Benefits Of Tahjuud by Mutohhir Abdulhamid Olanrewaju

Image
Every night, Allah Swt descends to the lowest heavens and calls out, saying, what does he say? Who is there seeking forgiveness when the 3rd of the night remains? Who is there seeking forgiveness so I can give? Who is there, repenting so I can accept? Who is there, asking me any of their needs? Imagine you get and look at the time and say, wow, Allah is calling, Allah is calling me, Oh Allah, I am the one, I am seeking, Oh Allah me, I want forgiveness, Oh Allah forgive me. I have a need and am calling out to you; I know you’re here to answer me. Call out to Allah, and he will give you what you want. If it is Toubah and Istighfar, he will forgive you; if it is anything else, he will grant it to you; when he knows it’s the right time, he will give you what he knows is better for you. Subhanallah, so this is the time of Tahajudd. That is the most blessed time of the night, and we call it the early hours of the morning. The last part of the night is the part of Tahajjud 01. Del...

Portrait Of My Fatherland by Sakariyah Ridwanullah

Image
Portrait of My Fatherland as a Body Eating out Its Own Skin Shall I say my Fatherland is running mad after having gone farther in the world of another Land? Shall I say my Fatherland is loosing the grips that holds firm the pole holding high the banner of our Land? Shall I say my Fatherland is spewing forth the DOs  & the DON'Ts after I have aged to father my Father's land on my Fatherland? Shall I say my Fatherland's hand is turning hard that hard is the muse to imprint the remedy to the young lads' future hazard? Shall I say my Fatherland cannot see how hard  the time before, how harder the time present and how the hardest the time to come might be if the sword's handle is not released for the future warriors in the High Land? If my Fatherland is all ears, all eyes, all sane... the butcher's son a victim of hunger should not be.

Simile In My Adventure by Sakariyah Ridwanullah

Image
I have a simile in my life. strives to meet the standard of metaphor. amidst the forlorn encounter with Irony, Sarcasm and Euphemism. all barriers to be broken, debackled. like a scoundrel living a tough life, in the rough street. like a pregnant she-goat groaning in pain, struggling to survive and, smile again. like a dizzy falcon roaming helplessly, striving to avert a red signal. like a cockroach wailing at furnace of heartless fire. like...an Ulcer patient moaning with tremble voice, wants a chance to live again, never to give up on death. like my mama in the labour room: "help!" "help!" she grumbled. push. push. the doctor encouraged. until she begot me. mama smiled welcoming my cry with the hope to survive and  live once more.
