In Palestine, a land of strife,
We pray for peace, and end to strife.
A future where all can live in peace,
With love and hope, a world released.
A land of beauty, history, and grace,
Where all are free, in every place.
A place of hope, and endless joy,
Where all are one, a girl, a boy.
With peace and love, a better life,
A new beginning, no more strife.

Let us hope that one day soon,
The peace we long for will bloom.
A future free of anger, hate,
Where all are equal, no debate.
So let us dream, and work, and strive,
For a Palestine, where all can thrive.
Where children play, and all are free,
To live a life of dignity.
With justice, truth, and love for all,
Our Palestine, so tall and tall.
A land where all can live in peace,
With hope and joy, no cease.

May this future come to be,
A land where all are truly free.
Where all can share, in every way,
The joys of life, each coming day.
Let this vision be our guide,
As we work for peace, with pride.
For Palestine, our future home,
Where all are welcome, never roam.
Where every child is safe and sound,
And all can live, without a bound.
So let us work, with hope and care,
For Palestine, our future's prayer.

May peace and love forever reign,
In Palestine, our hope and gain.
Where hope and joy will light the way,
For all to live, from night to day.
Let us work for this better place,
Where everyone will see God's grace.
With faith and love, our future bright,
Palestine, our endless light.
And so we pray, with hope and trust,
That all will see this future just.

A glimmer of gold in the dunes' vast expanse appeared. As I searched, the sands shifted, revealing a path unclear. With every step, and each passing moment, thoughtful reflection leads the way. Upon delving deep, I unearthed a treasure bright, and then I examined the price, to see if it gleamed with hidden worth. And so I discovered it was merely glitter in sight. Once again, the mantle of leadership has been passed on. Alhamdulillah Rabbil Alamin. We give praise and thanks to Almighty Allah for making us witness that day. We thank Him for guiding the Shurah committee, and we thank Him for His choice of leaders. For those of us who attended the programme, we would all agree that that day is a memorable one. It's not every day you see your leaders breaking down at the moment of appointment. And if there's a lesson to be learnt from that, and from the fact that Great men like Umar and Uthman cried as well, it's the fact that crying is not always a sign of weakness. Sometimes, it's a sign of inner strength. To our dear newly appointed excos, with our congratulations and prayers for Barakah comes our suggestions and advice.
