A Birthed Day On My Birthday: A Twined-Edge Adventure by Sakariyah Ridwanullah

 I received my death
The day I was put to birth
I haggled for the price of my health
When I realized the extent of my sickness's de'th
On the day I was born I began to die on
There was a thought of graduation when I got admission
I began to see blessing the day my struggle became pressing
Every day comes to an end immediately after their opening

I stand to emblem Carollia Perspicillata
As I wish I became immortal
How I wish my legacy traversed around the world
That my name be registered worldwide
How I wish my inner self became a haven
Where I could abide with after my leaving for heaven
How I wish my mother was the pristine Mary
Who would've birthed me without a father

But the wishes confined into a wish
A wish chameleoned to a day, birthed on my cake day
Alas! The constellation of Stars is chauffeured around the noblest of skies where destinies are written
The Moon fades away the moment it brisks up as the Sun begins to dusk the moment it shines bright

What is the joy of a tied-down Chicken on Christmas’s eve when the pot is ready to soup it?
What happiness has a husky Ram when Ismail has been untied?
What ever-lasting joy does man celebrate when his demise is around the corner?
What reason have I to celebrate a birthday when my death day has been birthed the day I was put to birth?
